Sergeant Chris Adams is a North Carolina native. He was born in Smithfield and raised in Knightdale. Before entering law enforcement, Chris served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1995-1999. His primary duty station was Camp Lejeune, NC. While in the Marines, Chris was a Corrections Specialist and a Programs Clerk.
Chris earned his Associates Degree and completed Basic training (BLET) at Wake Tech Community College. He is a certified Field Training Officer (FTO) and routinely helps conduct background investigations for police applicants.
Sergeant Adams is currently assigned to the Patrol Division's West District.
