Paul Caldwell currently serves as a School Resource Officer and is assigned at East Garner Middle. This is just one of the many roles that Officer Caldwell has assumed since being hired in January 1997. He has previously held positions as a Patrol Officer, Bicycle Officer and Field Training Officer. In addition to his current duties, he is a member of the Special Response Team and is a Law Enforcement General Instructor certified through the North Carolina Criminal Justice Education and Training Standards Commission. He was awarded with his Advanced Law Enforcement certificate from that same Commission in 2003.
Officer Caldwell earned both a Bachelor of Science, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice and Political Science from University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
