Officer 'Sonny' Roberson

Officer William 'Sonny' Roberson grew up in Cherryville, NC. He began his law enforcement career with the Shelby, NC Police Department. He was also an officer with the Raleigh Police Department before coming to Garner in late 2002.

Officer Roberson is currently assigned to patrol and a member of the Special Response Team (SRT or SWAT).

Sonny earned his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Western Carolina University.
