Sergeant Scott Crawford was hired on October 4, 1993. He worked uniform patrol for more than 10 years until earning a promotion to Sergeant on July 12, 2004. Scott has been a field training officer and currently serves on the Special Response Team. He is also a state certified Basic Law Enforcement Training instructor.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Utica College in New York. He has successfully completed more than 1800 hours of advanced and in-service training since joining the Garner Police Department in 1993.
On May 5, 2003, Scott received the Department’s "Rob Apple - Officer of the Year Award."
Sergeant Crawford is married and enjoys exercise, reading and working in his yard.
