Career Highlights:
Began career in law enforcement with the Garner Police Department in 1988. Served as a K9 Officer with K9 "Gerry" beginning 1992. Promoted to Lieutenant in 1994 and discontinued K9 duties in 1995. Assigned to Community Services division in 1998. Assigned to Field Operations as a District Lieutenant in 2004.
Current Duties:
Currently supervise the East District. I produce crime analysis reports and determine priorities for personnel duties and responsibilities in my district.
Interests:
An active rock climber, I recently summitted the Grand Teton, a 13,770 foot peak in Grand Teton National Park. I climb local areas as well. I am an avid runner, mountain biker, and enjoy almost all outdoor activities.
I volunteer for SCOR, or Schools and Communities Organized to Read. I help tutor a 2nd grader to read in a local elementary school.
